    I'm going through old footage from shoots thinking maybe I should start cataloging these memories better. There’s something so fleeting about the locations you fall in love with on set — that warehouse in Xochimilco or the abandoned villa in Tláhuac. By the time credits roll, they've already started to blur into each other in my mind 🙏

    I think people don't understand what a locations manager really does because they just see us on set or driving past in the van. We find apartments that look lived-in but aren’t going to get trashed by crew. I have negotiated with shopkeepers for permission to film, convinced homeowners to let us turn their living rooms into hospitals 🙏 😂 and smoothed over arguments between producers and residents so no one calls the police before we even start filming.
