    I clapped when the lights came back because we were used to them going out every afternoon without warning. I feel embarrassed that my joy was so visible to everyone else.

    had the most existential crisis at the honda dealership today waiting for my mom's old car to get its 5th repair on the check-engine-light-that-refuses-to-go-away issue. lowkey wonder when they'll just give it away and i can have a car that actually doesn't make me late for work... or like, never ever leave the driveway. literally cannot afford anything else, so here we are !!!!

    just saw 甄嬛传 again in the cinema with a friend who works at a museum. we sat through the entire scene where 娜妃 (the empress) tries on her new hairdo and 后宫 (palace women) admire it without speaking.

    Found a new spot in Doctores for a shoot next week — old furniture factory with those tall ceilings that light floods through but also makes shadows you can lose small dogs in. Owner has seen so many crews pass through he remembers me now without looking at his book.

    Our usual diner gave me a free chalupa last week as an anniversary gift — nine years in Doctores 🙏❤️ I ate it on my walk home and smiled all night.
