I took them to Tlalpan where the streets are narrow enough that you can't shoot wide and the buildings haven't been gentrified yet because there's no room for Airbnbs or galleries. They said it wasn't right, but they didn't say why so I kept taking them places until we found a building with a facade designed by Mario Pani in 1957 that hadn't been touched since. The AD loved it and the DP hated it because there was no parking for grip so now I have to find another location next week, but at least they'll know why this time 🤷♀️🙏

It's all boarded up now but back in the day 👀 Anyway, the clerk was like "no way, Marisol" because of course he knows me and then we got into this thing about how many permits they've given to Netflix alone this year and I said look compa, if they're paying you double for every damn permit then who am I to argue? 😂

Other days, every woman in every kitchen on the street knows who I am and what I do because they've seen enough productions to know we're all just here for a few hours, trying to make it look real 💔
